IBM Security MaaS360

I would highly recommend IBM Security MaaS360! Because it's a comprehensive mobile device management solution to manage and secure large numbers of devices, including smartphones, tablets and laptops across multiple environment. It also offers robust security features encryption capabilities and compliance reporting this increase our security posture. The customer support is also great and very supportive.

It is very well suitable for device management, identity management, content, mobile threat management. Also App security, granular patch management, Risk management, OS VPN, Dashboards,policy recommendations,Secure browser, it also has simple interface to manage. Pricing wise interms of per user/month I believe it is lot better than google.

A totally reliable software, since it integrates very well with different mobile devices and computers and with different operating systems, the security breadth is very good, and the protection and management of data guarantee peace of mind in all our departments.

Being a software capable of fulfilling what is needed: you can easily add new devices, it has a management for centralization, complete security of complete mobile applications, among many more robust functions, this tool is very useful in any large company or small, you will feel comfortable with all the staff, so all devices will have total security free of any threats, capable of creating a negative and uncomfortable environment. Its excellent technical support makes this tool the quality of service.

Highly recommended if you want to maintain control and full protection of each of the organization's devices. This tool is essential, being your company large or medium-sized, so it will keep the devices protected from any threat that may arise for the total lack of control of the business future. It is easy to use and you do not need to be an expert to install it; Secondly. It has a great technical service that always attends when you need it.

For new device setup and deployment it’s fairly easy. Getting off the ground with the initial setup is tough. It needs to be easier to get going. Training a new device manager is not straightforward. It requires too much tutoring to get someone proficient in changing, adding, and deleting devices.

This product has helped me find lost mobile devices and has helped protect our corporate intellectual property as well as making it easier to support our 700 users in our Canada manufacturing facilities. We are better able to manage our fleet of devices and manage the apps that are being used on these devices as well as which apps are being used. We can easily wipe out a device if someone resigns and to better protect information. It makes it easier to deploy a completely configured mobile device to remote users and supports Apple, Android or BYOD. Once configured correctly this product integrates seamlessly with Apple to better manage off the shelf apps or custom applications. This product has made my life working with managing two different corporate entities and their divisions all across Canada with relative ease and leaves me more time to work on other issues. And reports are simple and customizable making it simple to see and understand and utilize the information to make better informed decisions.

Well suited to managing groups of devices and deployment of applications for various end users. Not appropriate for live device control.

There are very few scenarios where the solution is less suited. However, if an organization is device-specific with just iOS Devices, there are other less complex solutions available if the said organization has basic security requirements.
Any organization looking for a well-organized granular solution will find IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson to be the perfect fit. Having worked for a different MDM Vendor in the past, it is very clear that this solution not only provides the levels of granularity needed to address numerous security requirements, the level and quality of support behind the curtain are outstanding.

For organizations with strict security and compliance requirements, IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson provides comprehensive security features such as mobile threat defense, secure containerization, and app distribution controls. This makes it well-suited for organizations that require strict security and compliance controls. Organizations with limited budget may find that IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson is a premium solution that may not be suitable for their limited budgets. There are other MDM solutions available that may be more affordable for such organizations.

The best thing with IBM Security MaaS360 UEM is how it offers AI-driven threat intelligence and remediation to drive any endpoint security conversation and to protect all our organisation devices against sophisticated cybercriminals. I love also it helps to protect our critical apps and data from our clients using container policy.

I really love the set up and administration of the product which is easy and time saving. My user experience has been phenomenal and very consistent. The support service been top-notch. I like the selective wipe feature allows us the be in control of my organization data and let all users comply with a BOYD policy.

One thing about this tool is very cost effective and takes no time for the new user to get onboard. The support team has been there incase of any assistance or challenge we face they've made sure there is a solution to any challenge. I love the ability to remotely track and monitor our devices incase of any threats intruding or stolen devices we are able to stop it by locking the device easily.

I love how this tool is very user-friendly, easy to use and maintain. Its very cost effective and top-class support system and all the features are robust and easy to use. It offers permanent security to our devices even when they get lost we are able to still keep them secure from unauthorized end users.

IBM Security MaaS360 has helped me to manage security threats by using it to detect and respond to security threats on mobile devices, such as malware or phishing attacks. This includes blocking to access to malicious apps or websites, or remotely wiping a device if it is lost or stolen. I also use it to enroll and configure mobile devices.

I like how user friendly the UI is, very easy to navigate through and ease of use. I like there are default policies that are readily available to use and customize for quick setup. This tool has military- grade security features that helps to protect all our data and confidential information in all our devices.

IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson is well suited for organizations that need to manage and secure large large numbers of mobile devices. It is suitable in healthcare organizations as it helps secure and manage mobile devices, which are often used to access patients information. IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson is also suitable in financial organizations, this helps it secure and manage mobile device that are used by the employees.

I find IBM Security MaaS360 a great solution for managing and securing a large and diverse fleet of mobile services used by a workforce that is constantly on the go. I can also enroll and manage devices, enforce policies and compliance, and protect against security threats, all from a single, centralized console.

When you select a customer group and revive the data on the customer group page, the refresh returns you to the full list of customers instead of just refreshing the list of customers within that group. In cases where you need to set up blocks, it can be done very well on any phone, and the separation feature is phenomenal.

I like how it ensures that we meet our security standards. It is very easy to learn and highly trainable. It supports multiple platforms.

Pros:

• The ability to add new users and devices is pretty easy.
• Overall I need to give it a good mark because it does what we want it to. Secure and easy to use and implement. I won't name names, but I have used other UEM systems and this one takes the cake for being all-around the best product for your company and clients you support.

Cons:

• The UI is a pain to navigate, functions don't notify you if they are executed successfully or not, and app updates won't work for no reason and manually updating them is also a pain.
• Once a device is lost, you have to continue to pay for a license on that device or it becomes unlocked and the end-user can take control of it.
• Notifications for the app work sometimes and not work other times. IT doesn’t know what would cause this problem.

Maas360 is the only MDM worth purchasing for managing a corporate MDM, it gets an above-average rating just for the principle that it's the only functional service, however, it's brought down by its, in my opinion, incompetent and aloof customer service reps who I feel only care about your monthly bill and nothing else. Whenever I had problem employees who stole iPads, I was always punished by IBM. In my experience, IBM will pretend they're going to cancel license fees for defunct devices, yet it took 5 weeks to actually cancel several devices and add new licenses so I'm not getting overages. The first two years from 2018 to 2020 were excellent, I had an incredible representative and a competent sales rep who at least checked in with our needs once a month. Ever since the old staff relocated or got laid off, we've had nothing but problems. I feel I've gotten incredibly unprofessional service, in fact, my last rep a week ago seemed to be annoyed with my requests and forced a new rep onto me (who will likely do the same thing to me in 6 months). I'm keeping the service because it's the only service Apple Business Manager works properly with. Apple Business support funny enough knows more about Maas360 than IBM themselves.

MaaS360 is suited well both for small shops and some medium-sized shops where the goal is to mostly manage company-run devices. Its smooth running web portal makes changing items happen quickly and for the most part, except for wiping machines, most items flow smoothly and make sense. The ease of use is good for the smaller shops that do not have a lot of time to spending on training. Conversely I am not sure MaaS360 is a great choice for large shops or shops that intend on having a lot of BYOD users. To use it effectively you have to request the user go into the MaaS360 app and agree to some items and that is not always an easy task with BYOD.

Suited for organizations of all sizes that want to ensure that corporate data is encrypted and stored in a capsule on each mobile device.

It is well suited for companies with less than 1500 employees. For companies over that amount licenses can be very costly.
